

We were then taken out up on to the common, my llama was very interested in all that was around him, it was amazingly calming walking with a llama. My mate for the day was Silbury, a very hansome chap! We brought the llamas up to the yard, haltered them and grooomed them. This was really well done and useful, I am use to horses but my husband had no experience of larger animals. He loved music! Arthur loved to play Southern Gospel music with his brothers and friends.The adventure started at Old King Street Fram where we were introduced to our Llamas, we had an informative talk about the animals and got instruction on how to handle them. He worshiped regularly at the Church of God (Holiness) in Lowry City, MO.

He was saved as a teenager and lived a consistent Christian Life. Arthur is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edra of the home, two sons, Duane and Bryan and wife, Debbie of Lowry City, MO seven grandchildren, Sonja Burton and husband, Clay of Rockville, MO Shane Bourland, Wichita, KS Seth, Damien and Misty Bourland, Lowry City, MO, Tracy Waitley and Griff Golden and wife Lisa, Lowry City, MO, nine great grandchildren, brothers, Curtis Bourland and wife, Lou, Petersburg, IN, Kent Bourland and wife, Phyllis, Lowry City, MO, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Troy and Milan Bourland. He often said he considered most of his patients also his friends. He practiced as a chiropractor 42 years 40 of those years in Lowry City, until he retired on December 31, 2001. Shortly after discharge he attended and graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College. He was awarded a Letter of Appreciation for outstanding service in Korea from Juntil June 8, 1953. Arthur was awarded the Korean Service Medal W/3, National Defense Medal, and the United Nations Medal. On Novemhe entered the United States Marine Corps. Upon graduation he worked with his father on the farm until 1950 when he moved to Kansas City, MO and worked for Commander Larabee Milling Co. Arthur graduated from Appleton City High School, Appleton City, MO, in 1948. On Novemhe was united in marriage to Edra L. He passed away Jat Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, MO. Arthur Edward Bourland was born Januwest of Osceola, MO, to Grover Green and Pauline Nera (Clanin) Bourland.
